THE 6TH ANNUAL RECOVERY IN THE ARTS EXHIBIT: Using Art to Speak Out for Recovery While Giving Hope and Sharing Success

    

 Miami’s consumers of Behavioral Health Services showcased their recovery through artwork at the Sixth Annual Recovery in the Arts Exhibit.


     In celebration of National Recovery Month in September, the Recovery in the Arts Exhibit unveiled a series of photography and altered book art created by adult consumers of Behavioral Health services within Miami-Dade County. The Exhibit Opening was Tuesday, September 10, 2013, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the South Tower lobby of the Rohde Building, located at 401 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL. 


     The exhibit was sponsored by Fresh Start of Miami-Dade, Inc., and funded by Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs. Appreciation is also given to the Florida Department of Children and Families and South Florida Behavioral Health Network for their support.



     The Gallery in the South Tower Lobby was open and free of charge, on  weekdays throughout the month of September.
